Serves 1 very happy margarita lover.
2 ounces blanco tequila1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice1/2 ounce Agave Ready Syrup, or more depending on desired sweetness (see below)1 lime slice, for garnish (optional)
Combine all of the ingredients except the garnish in a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice. Shake vigorously for 5 seconds and strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a slice of lime,if desired.
AGAVE READY SYRUP
1/4 cup agave necter1/4 cup water
Place ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat and allow to cool.
