This series features hands-on cooking lessons with Joanne and her home kitchen as the classroom. Both the student and viewer learn how to prepare a wide variety of Joanne's recipes, using the freshest and most seasonal ingredients. Rather than simply listing ingredients, method, cooking time and serving size, these recipes feature additional instructions to inspire and instill confidence in the kitchen.

In this second wine country series, I return to my beloved vineyard home for another season of dishes inspired by gracious living and ready access to the finest and freshest ingredients.
This show was an enormous success and ran for several years on public television stations nationwide. Although it is no longer available for viewing, the recipes are still accessible in the companion cookbook, Joanne Weir's More Cooking in the Wine Country (available in bookstores and at amazon.com). And, of course, the show and all its recipes continue to inspire all of my work.
