I’m back from my incredible honeymoon in Santorini and Hydra, Greece – did I mention I am now married?!! I have posted photos from the wedding and honeymoon on my blog. Needless to say I’m still on cloud nine and there’s still a sparkle in my eyes! As our guests arrived at the wedding we served Orange Aperol Sunset (Prosecco with Aperol and a splash of orange juice) cocktails as the sun began to set that magical August evening… You can imagine the rest!
Although it’s a little tough getting back into the swing of things, I am looking forward to the next few busy months and to the really fun tours and classes I have planned for 2010. There are still a couple of spaces in my upcoming Harvest in Wine Country cooking course in San Francisco. We’re going to have fun cooking fall and holiday-inspired menus (I’ll teach you how to make a perfect Thanksgiving feast) for a week together in my kitchen in San Francisco.
So many of you asked about my culinary tours of Provence and Tuscany that I scheduled both locations for October 2010. Check my website for dates and details.
I love teaching my courses at home in San Francisco and if you haven’t tried one, you should sign up! Join me for two exciting hands-on weekend courses - "Rolling in Dough: Homemade Pasta, Pizza and Pastry" and "Sauce Camp: from Simple to Spectacular" or sign up for my week-long intensive courses "A Trip Around the Mediterranean" and "Weir University: 50 Techniques in 5 Days". Each course is limited to ten people, is filled with lots of interactive cooking, delicious wines and guest wine experts, and of course you’ll have time to explore my home and favorite food city – San Francisco!
Looking forward to seeing you in one of my courses very soon,
